One of the Club's Signature Projects. Its Mission is to eliminate hunger in Greene & Putnam Counties. This includes food to families &120 plus "Backpacks" on Friday to needy school children. Second Harvest also initiated and continues to support a weekly Soup Kitchen on Saturday that feeds approximately 130 individuals.

A Club Signature Project, makes it possible for 120 kids to purchase a pair of shoes, a backpack and a pair of socks for school needs. This assists in dress needs & it helps in learning opportunities

Military veterans in the Lake Country now have an easier way to adopt pets with no cost to the veteran. The Pets Luv Vets program of the Greene & Putnam Rotary Club works with local humane societies, animal shelters and veterinary clinics to promote & process adoptions of pets for Veterans. The bond created through this adoption is beneficial to the health and overall well-being of not only the Veteran and her/his family but also for the pet.

(AfS) is one of the Club's Global Projects.AfS organizes and sends surgical teams to sites for 2 week missions. During these missions, 70 - 100 under-served children receive FREE corrective surgery.
